Olympic Countdown

Watched the Canadian Figure Skating championship today. Excited to see who will represent Canada at the Olympics. Even more excited that I will actually be watching Figure Skating at the Olympics. There will be a lot of personal firsts for me at the Olympics. Sometimes the feeling that i will be attending the Olympics hasn't quite sunk in. I guess I will feel it as the days dwindle down to single digits.
Jan 10, 2010 Yoga
Woke up feeling a bit sore this morning. 1.5 hrs of yoga later and I'm feeling it the next day. At least it means I'm doing it right. haha. Good fun, glad I joined the class.

The first week of work is over. The time off was well needed to regroup. Hopefully, I can stay focus and work hard until the Olympcis.

Really appreciate the time off. Get to stay up late and wake up late, do whatever I want. Family christmas dinner was awesome, had a lot of fun, ate a lot of good food.
2009 is coming to an end, lots of happy moments and events that I can reflect on. 2010 will start off great with Olympics 43 days away. No matter what happens in 2010, I will try my best to face it head on. Hope for happiness and good health to me and my family. To an amazing 2010, cheers!!!

November was busy, but more fun busy since it was playing erhu and practing with the group a few times a week. The performance went well and the dinner was awesome. I'm happy my family enjoyed it a lot~
Well, December busy is work busy meaning stress busy. People always wants to see the reports before Christmas. Ganbatte ne~ First term of Japanese class is almost over, I can wait till next term when I learn more and more. It's so cool when I watch Japanese shows now and I can actually understand and pick out words. Hopefully SPEED will have a concert next year and me and Daisy will definitely go to Japan and watch them. That's the plan nonetheless.

Well, when I said it was going to be busy, I forgot to factor in that work is busy too. So really, BUSY BUSY BUSY until Christmas. Having worked at HGC through four year ends, safe to say, it will be a mad dash into next year. And in between all the music group practice, music lessons, dodge ball, Japanese class, studying, I really need to make time to meet up with FRIENDS. Like really, let’s meet up!

Looks like it will be a busy November. Especially with the big Macau Cultural dinner party happening at the end of the month where we’re performing 3 new macaunese songs. Only have 3 weeks to practice…
Oct 27,2009 Go Canada!
Seats have been alloted for the Olympics!!! So exciting to know where I'll be sitting for the event. Although my seat for the opening ceremony isn't great, I don't think it will matter much!!!
Dad has been retired for a few months now. Nothing has changed much, he's still the GO GO GO type. With all the time do stuff now, why is he in such a rush. But I guess that comes with age. Everything is a rush regardless. Sometimes I really have no patience for him, it's so hard for me to bite my tongue, will I ever learn? Probably not...

Mom's back from vacation, everything has gone back to normal, I don't have to worry about cooking dinner anymore. hahaha.
The first two weeks of October flew by, mainly because I took part in the Canadian Acoustical Association conference in Niagara-on-the-lake. Stayed at a very nice hotel, Pillar & Post. I learned a lot, especially since I had to present my paper, met lots of ppl and ate good food. It was a great experience!!!
Sept 19,2009 How many more days to Go???
Just watched a special on CTV about the top 10 Winter Olympic moments. It makes me so excited about the upcoming olympics. Maybe I'll get to witness some new historic moments!!! Only 145 Days to go!!!!
Mom has been away for 2 weeks now, and I have been in charge of cooking dinner. Only 3 more weeks to go....

Sept 7,2009 Back to School
Back to school for me too! haha. it's been so long, but I'm excited to be learning Japanese. Nobody expects me to get the same mark as my sister including me, my mom knows me well. hahaha. I study enough to pass.
So my mom is on vacation for the next 5 weeks, so lucky! HK, Beijing, Shanghai, etc. I want to be on vacation too! Next one will be Vancouver 2010! 157 days to go!!!!
